And what people who go on the warpath about pedophilia don't always get is that actual pedophiles don't need sexual content in stories about children in order to be attracted to the story. So you can attempt to weed out things with obvious sexual content featuring sufficiently underage persons, sure, but you're performing that service for people who don't want that stuff anyway. But actual pedophiles, unfortunately, need no encouragement.

There are several fairly g rated productions with creepy weirdos lurking on the fringe. Because the creeps are attracted to the child actors in the perfectly innocent production, or they're interpreting things as sexual that no one else would. Someone screening for triggering content wouldn't notice it, because they think like a normal person.

Okay I don’t see everything involving people under 18 in relationships, certainly not with each other, as pedophilia. On the other hand I never thought of your second point at all and now I’m skeeved out. Blech.
