I find it hilarious that people will get so up in arms about that sort of shit in media (which is 100% fictional) while completely ignoring all of the sexualizing of real live teenagers that goes on in Western culture. Have you even looked at the clothing that's being marketed to teenagers today? Half of it makes them look like mini hookers. I find THAT way more disturbing than fanservice in anime will ever be.

Yes, well, addressing the problem of the sexualizing of youth in Western culture would require actual effort and risk, in a way that screeching at people on the internet does not.
