I get you, but maybe those weren't good examples because those people don't really sound "pissed off" just... kind of needy and insecure and not managing their feelings well.

Yeah. It's the kind of reaction that writers/artists should probably discuss with other sympathetic writers and artists, but maybe not inflict upon their well meaning fans.

Why is there a war at all? This is stupid. Writers are lucky to have reviewers and reviewers are lucky to have fics. The end! I'm expressing an opinion on worthless nitpicking. That doesn't mean I'm telling people to do anything. Try reading what I actually say!

ayrt never said that it wasn't, nor did they suggest it's the reviewer's job to coddle anyone. They simply pointed out that these weren't good examples of "pissed off". Which they aren't. You seem in a rush to fight. Perhaps a chill pill?
