Huh, I guess I'm old school. I appreciate any and all, and try to reply to everything.

... and if people point out typos or plot holes, I swallow my embarrassment, say "thank you," and fix 'em.

Oh *hell* yes. I have asked in the past, particularly on LJ, for people to point out stuff. I *hate* having a mistake in my fic, so that doesn't bother me at all.

This. Pretty simple, really.

Yes. Exactly!

Same.

Though I kind of miss the guy who used to tell me how to write my chapter fic, insisting on "this needing to happen" in the next chapter. Usually, he was completely off-course on the way my story was going.

It was funnier when he'd comment on my one-shots that way.

I always thanked him for his input and gave my appreciation for his ideas.

Hahaha, you're kinder than me. Usually that gets the "Wow, you're really passionate about this -- you should totally write your own story!"

This.

Yes, this, OMG!

As a writer, this is what I do. As a reader, I've had all sorts of experiences with author with all kinds off issues. My response to that has been to stop commenting on their fics.
