This kinda reminds me of artist who got incredibly popular from drawing fandom related characters and then they start drawing OC's and nobody gives a fuck about them and the artist get butthurt nobody wants to see their OC and want more fandom characters.

Like... that is what the people want. That is why they followed you and the only reason they ever cared for you. Crying that you're not getting the specific kind of attention you want makes you seem like a sensitive and entitled child.

As a writer/artist you don't owe your audience anything... but it goes both ways. The audience doesn't owe you any interest in stuff they don't care about. People read/write fic for fun, it shouldn't be some obligation.
