I think since it is a comment to me on my fic, I do take it at least a little personally. I don't think they are going to force me to write more or anything, demanding is just the way it comes across to me, whether they meant it that way or not. A lot of commenters are courteous about it, writing things like: "I would love to see more in this universe" and "This is awesome, a sequel would be great". I don't think everyone needs to leave a comment like that, nor do I expect them to, but I don't think an author hoping for courtesy (like a "please") or some other indication of enjoyment (like a smiley face or "Yay!") is anything to be outraged about, either.
