Not OP and I'll agree he's in great physical shape.

It's the classic broad-shouldered Superhero V that's missing in his frame. Compare him to Hugh Jackman or Chris Evans.

It's not wrong to say Reynolds' frame itself is narrower, which he can't really do anything about. He's built a lot onto it for the role, which is respectable.

Jackman isn't anywhere near comic version Wolvie either, but I like the real thing better.

Not debating that. I'd have preferred the 5'3" version there too for a change of pace.

But as a body type comparison, I was talking about the actors as having classic Superhero V builds, not the characters they play.
