Uhhh. So this isn't good enough for you? https://www.justgofitness.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/07/RyanReynoldsBladeWorkout-1024x672.jpg

I think Reynolds are pretty perfect for the role, especially with his incredible comic timing which just IS Deadpool.

(For the rest of you who want more, just google Reynolds + Blade.)

Yeah, he is muscular. The difference between the comic and the real character is that he is wearing a 'practical' suit and not one that is sprayed on spandex.

Yeah, the Rob Liefeld look doesn't really work with actual costumes.

(Anonymous) 2018-05-27 08:49 pm (UTC)(link)
Lol the Liefeld look doesn't work with actual anything at all, including physics and space-time

(Anonymous) 2018-05-27 08:33 pm (UTC)(link)
Not bad, but he could've worked more on those arms and shoulders. :/

(Anonymous) 2018-05-27 08:41 pm (UTC)(link)
I think he did as much as he reasonably could. His shoulders aren't super broad for his height, there's only so much you can add.

I don't know much about body building, but doesn't drinking things like mass building shakes help with that?

(Anonymous) 2018-05-27 08:45 pm (UTC)(link)
Doesn't help literal skeletal structure much unfortunately. :(

Look up photos of Dwayne Johnson at 15 if you want to look at a skinny guy with huge broad shoulders. The frame is already there.

Steroids might do it, but I wouldn't wish the side effects on anybody.

Not OP and I'll agree he's in great physical shape.

It's the classic broad-shouldered Superhero V that's missing in his frame. Compare him to Hugh Jackman or Chris Evans.

It's not wrong to say Reynolds' frame itself is narrower, which he can't really do anything about. He's built a lot onto it for the role, which is respectable.

Jackman isn't anywhere near comic version Wolvie either, but I like the real thing better.

(Anonymous) 2018-05-27 09:06 pm (UTC)(link)
Not debating that. I'd have preferred the 5'3" version there too for a change of pace.

But as a body type comparison, I was talking about the actors as having classic Superhero V builds, not the characters they play.

Totally agree!
