I'm making a list of fantasy-genre stuff for when I'm on bedrest.

So what's your favorite of the genre? Any type of media. Just your favorites. Want to see if there is anything I'm missing.

Scifi with a fantasy feel is acceptable too.

Rivers of London is my favorite serious Urban Fantasy.

Gil's All Fright Diner is my favorite comedic Urban Fantasy.

Sorry if I mention some twice! Some are definitely more sci-fi than fantasy but I've enjoyed them.

TV: Buffy, Charmed, Xena, Merlin, Lost Girl, Warehouse 13, Legend of the Seeker, Avatar the Last Airbender, Penny Dreadful, Lucifer, Supernatural, The Vampire Diaries, AHS, American Gods, Outlander, Westworld, True Blood, Teen Wolf, GoT, iZombie, Star Crossed, Roswell, Shadow Hunters, Wynonna Earp, Van Helsing, Misfits, Superstition, Hemlock Grove, Sleepy Hollow, The Frankenstein Chronicles, Blood Ties, Moonlight, Haven, Tru Calling, Dead Like Me

Rewatching Charmed right now, fuck yeah.

Also I love Tru Calling, I own it on DVD. <3

It was so good! I'm not sure the remake can ever live up to that.

I wish I had Tru Calling on dvd but I don't think they ever released it in my country. I loved it so much when it was on.

primary world fantasy:

Caroline Stevermer
James Blaylock
Tim Powers
Lisa Goldstein
Charles De Lint, a bit
John Crowley

secondary world fantasy:

Patricia McKillip
Jeffrey Barlough
Amanda Downum
Jo Walton
Lois McMaster Bujold

some of these are more literary, some of them are more pop, idk what you're looking for. Also, Sandman (the comic book) and Gene Wolfe but I didn't want to categorize those.

There are enough Discworld novels to see you through a long-ass bedrest my friend
