Taste better than smell - parmesan cheese. Like a vomity fart on the nostrils but so damn tasty.

Meatloaf. I always hate how meatloaf looks until I start to eat it. Then it is amazing.

Most green vegetables like brussel sprouts and asparagus is pretty stinky but delicious.

I've loved brussel sprouts since I was little but it wasn't until Christmas dinner last year that I realised that, wow, they smell awful.

I had so much revulsion towards sun-dried tomatoes because they look so wrinkly and awful and I spent way too much time being made to draw them in still life classes. Then I tried one and oh my god, I could eat a whole jar.

There are some stews that just look awful, but are darn tasty.

There are some gooey, messy desserts that look awesome, like they're meant to be that way, but then there are some that just look like you threw a bunch of stuff in processor, then barely cooked and threw it on a plate, but they taste amazing.

I really like broccoli, but it does not have the best smell when it's being cooked.

There's a point when whipping egg whites where they kind of smell like wet chicken, which makes since, but it's weird.

there is a Chinese dish that I sometimes make from ground pork, tofu, scrambled eggs and bean thread noodles. It tastes yummy (and it's basically a big plate of protein) but it looks god awful so I never make it for company.
