Well.

There was a lot of infidelity in the show and I don't really like infidelity (since it aired so long ago, I think teenage me probably wrote some of it off as adults being stupid). But Shelly's made sense to me. For Ed and Nadine, it kind of felt like Ed had become more Nadine's caretaker - he loved her and wanted her to be okay, but he wasn't really in love with her anymore. And I think staying married to her was a way to care for her and because he felt guilty. Also, Nadine could be scary. It wasn't right, but it was complicated.

OP: I think I'm alright with the idea that some relationships just fall apart or don't work out, so in a way I can be okay with seeing Ed and Norma's relationship bud as they start to experience being alive again. You did a very good write up on the subject, thank you!

100% Agreed. :P

ayrt

I do think, under most circumstances, people should just end things if they feel the need to cheat. But, sometimes, certain circumstances make things, not necessarily acceptable, but understandable.

You did a very good write up on the subject, thank you! You're welcome!

Hope you enjoy the rest of your rewatch. ☺
