Tell us about your OTPs (or OT3+) and why you love them

Vegeta/Bulma. It was the first time I ever shipped anything. They are two assholes who love each other and that is beautiful.

Steve/Bucky. Steve will always choose Bucky and I love that. Also, if one of the was female, they would totally be canon.

Jaime/Brienne. They both respect each other after seeing the worst of each other. And Brienne totally convinced Jaime to leave Cersei.

Those are my three big ones.

Melkor/Sauron: A combination of so many things I love. A strong bond that lasts millenia. Angst. Villains who are completely evil but still can love each other.

Steve/Bucky: Strong bonds again. And angst.

Doctor/Master or Missy: Enemies that used to be friends, complicated relationship that is fascinating.

Kylo/Hux: Villain ship again. But what makes these two interesting besides the chemistry is that they are rivals as much as they are allies.

Luke/Mara: Their relationship was complicated. It was never easy, and it took a long time. But it worked, and they were the perfect match for each other.

Spock/McCoy. Still my favourite pair of people who will argue all goddamned day, sometimes viciously, about anything and everything under the sun, and still be willing to die for each other, be tortured for each other, or bear each other's literal souls if need be. Also, on the shallow side, there's a distinct physical power differential that the show goes out of its way to emphasise, so there's that.

Molly Grue/Schmendrick. Childhood pairing, this. Again, people willing to both argue with each other and sacrifice for each other, but with these two there was also the comparison between them and Lir/Amalthea, the feeling of something simpler, more worn, more battered, and more enduring. No mystic love story, but a stubborn ex-bandit and an idiot magician doing their best for each other and everyone around them. They made me feel safe as a kid.

Rick Blaine/Louis Renault. I developed a bit of a fondness over the years for morally ambigous people inspiring something a little less tawdry in each other, and this was probably one of the earlier examples. They were both at their worst at the start of the movie, and by the end of it they've both risked their lives for something brighter than themselves, and in Louis' case largely because of Rick. I always liked that.

Rick O'Connell/Evelyn Carnahan. Because they were the most goddamn fun to watch happen. They're just amazing. She has all this passion, drive and curiosity, and he has all these street smarts and dry wit and willingness to roll with everything she does. They're so stupidly in love, and they stay stupidly in love, and they gleefully tackle mummies and the occasional apocalypse together. They're the best.

Kylo Ren/Armitage Hux. It's been many years since I had an OTP, and I've always liked a villain ship, plus their dynamic is interesting: they're on the same side, don't like each other much, yet have to work together anyway (and also hate sex is hot).
