I save a fair amount and sometimes edit for spelling and grammar, but if I thought about actually rewriting a whole scene, I probably wouldn't save it. Though my fandoms usually have quite high fic production, which means if I really don't like something particular about a fic, there are thousands of others to read. I totally understand some homonym confusion, the occasional missing word or comma, or a strange word choice or two, but when there are so many issues that it's obvious the author can't be bothered to use spellcheck or even reread something before they post it, I will stop reading it, even if it has an interesting premise.
