Iron Man 2.
Avengers: Age of Ultron.
Mulan 2.
Prometheus(if that counts? It is technically a prequel).
Spiderman 3.
The Amazing Spiderman 2.
X-Men: Apocalypse.

Favourites: Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, Deadpool 2, Aliens, Terminator 2: Judgment Day

Least: Iron Man 3, all the Jurassic Park films (but oddly I loved Jurassic World), Star Wars: The Last Jedi

There are a lot of sequels that either I didn't care enough about the first movie to watch more or the sequel looked so bad that I didn't bother watching it. I'm not one of those people who think a bad sequel ruins a franchise, I simply hate sitting still long enough to watch a movie.

I dislike most Disney sequels, but I kinda liked Mulan 2.

Favourite: Shrek 2
Least favourite: I think they should have kept the first Matrix a standalone movie. I also quite dislike The Last Jedi.

Favorites: Two Towers and Return of the King, Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi and The Last Jedi, All the post-Iron Man 1 MCU movies, How to Train Your Dragon 2, Goblet of Fire, Deathly Hallows Part 1, Halloween 2, Underworld: Rise of the Lycans

Least Favorite: All the Hobbit movie sequels (hate all of them actually,but first isn't a sequel), All the Harry Potter sequels that aren't GOF or DH part 1 (POA being my least favorite of the movies, ugh, terrible adaption), any of the Halloween movies that aren't 1 or 2, Aliens, Underworld 4 and 5.

I love the LOTR movies. In spite of the fact that as a book fan, I'm getting more and more nitpicky every time I watch. But still, they bring me to Middle Earth, and they make me happy.

IMO the movies may not follow the books exactly but they perfectly capture the spirit of the books.
