(Anonymous) 2018-06-08 11:08 pm (UTC)(link)I've worn dresses like that to family weddings. Wish you could see the stuff my generation wore to go clubbing.
(And yes, I am a perfectly normal woman, haven't been abused, it's not a result of past trauma, I don't even have sex that much. Many 16-year-olds like to look sexy. They don't mind if you find them sexy as long as you're silent and at a safe distance).

(Anonymous) 2018-06-09 12:47 am (UTC)(link)This. At 13 I looked the same way I do now (at 34). I dressed a LOT more provocatively at 16 than I do now for sure. I wanted people to think I was hot. I wanted them to look. Not touch, or comment creepily, but look. To find me attractive.
Also I love people saying, "NO ONE THOUGHT SHE WAS SIXTEEN UNTIL THEY SAW THAT TWEET!"
I saw no tweet, and yet when I watched the movie I pegged her character as a teen solely on the interactions with her brother/mother. She ACTED like a teen, even if she looked maybe a bit older, but maybe because I am used to teens upselling themselves as 20-somethings with makeup/etc?
