Yeah, I'm gonna need context on this because I want to know what are people getting their panties on a twist for.

Chris Pratt put up a cross on Easter.

Huh. Thanks for the information, anon. I went to google it and it says he erected the cross on his farm.

From the reactions I thought he had erected the cross on some park or Native American cemetery to "convert" them or something. I don't see anything wrong with it but to each their own.

He put a symbol of his religion up, in celebration of one of its holidays, on his own property? Wow gee I can definitely see how totally reasonable and understandable it is for people to be creeped out and horrified by that /S

What are people in this thread, and op, even on.

What I don't understand is why half the people on this thread are parsing "I find that weird" as CREEPY AND HORRIFYING HOW DARE HEeeeee, and acting like everyone is saying things should be outlawed because they're weird.

You can find people gaining enjoyment from fluffy curtainfic of Hannibal where Hannibal and Will get married and go honeymooning to Hawaii, to be really weird, without campaigning to ban it or necessarily be horrified.

Chill, no need to be so defensive.

Weird isn't wrong, to be fair. People in this thread are not saying Pratt is immoral or awful for doing it, or that he did anything wrong. They're just saying they find it weird.

You can personally find something very strange without necessarily saying it is a wrong thing to do. Lots of us do it all the time. Besides, we're in fandom. Most people think WE'RE weird.
