So late, but I do not care.

I get what your saying, but I always found the makeup in that show to be pretty good. Yannik Bison really does have thick lashes, and the makeup they put in him (every actor wears makeup after all) does make it seem a bit much at times, but I can't see how it's any more distracting than any other show. His look is pretty much natural.

One of the things I love about Murdoch is that they consciously don't plaster on makeup for any of the women, giving them all a more natural look. Given that it's set in the 1900's, they do a good job keeping in with the time period.

The inventions I thought are more or less a bit of a gag, just like how Crabtree talks about a lot of modern inventions, only to be laughed off.
In the more recent episodes they tone it down a lot, and usually whenever Murdoch does think of something new he almost always says he got the idea from somewhere or someone else.

Right... I'll stop being a stan now;;
