106: Have you tried ihasatardis? It's funny DW macros (with Torchwood and Sarah Jane Adventures also allowed). I don't know if you're into macro comms, but it falls under the "we don't take ourselves too seriously" thing you're looking for. ^_^

153: That they didn't do... what?

166: Maybe it was just a friendly thing? OTOH, they did hang out at the Western Air Temple while Zuko was off having adventures with people, so maybe they have a little friendship going.

OP here.

I still do like ihasatardis, but after falling out with the show I just couldn't keep up with all the references so stopped going as frequently. But they are a lot of fun!

It took me a few tries and a whole lot of thinking, but I figured it out in the end. 8D It's very simple once you think about it... hard. XDDD

Basically? The station chose to premiere the Avatar finale on the same night that the Dark Knight premiered. You figure out the rest.

No, the Avatar was finale was on Saturday, TDK premiered the night before.

No, the last quarter of the Book was premiered in America that whole week. Wednesday through Saturday.

Well, it was actually Monday through Saturday, though many people had seen the episodes that aired on Mon., Tues., and Wed.

And I still don't know what the poster is trying to say.

Eh? Really? =D Sorry, I'm an idiot. But honestly, the timing could hardly be worse. Ending Avatar the day after the most anticipated movie of the summer was released? Fail.

See, I've never understood the reasoning behind "bad timing" when it comes to movie releases. Movies are shown several times a day, every day, for a few weeks at least. It's not that hard to schedule watching a movie around other things you want/need to do. Plus, a lot of people have some way to record tv shows, so they can watch them any time.

Hmmm, I could try and make an argument about niche markets and placement of resources and stuff, but honestly, I'm tired and I'm pretty sure that I couldn't put together a coherent argument about the subject anyway. 8D Suffice to say you make an excellent point.
