Same here! The only time (as a teen fan) that I encountered that sort of mentality was when adult fans were cocky towards teen fans. It was easy to counter with "well, why are you in a fandom for kids?" But it's not like anyone actively felt that way.

I think the only time I get jittery now is if I've written something porny and I don't care if you're X age (I read and watched stuff when I was too young for it) but please don't actually tell me your age! Tbh connect to this is that when it comes to explicit fic I'm fine with anyone of any age saying basic things like "that was hot" but I don't want to nor need to know details of how it made you feel!
