Really? I'm on tumblr all the time, and this has never happened to me. Maybe it's just the fandoms I'm in.

It's not even just in fandoms. I've seen people's ages being pointed out for all sorts of shit as if "being on tumblr over the age of 25" is a killing blow.

I’ve never seen this but I’m presuming it depends on the fandom. Most of the fans in my main fandom seem to run from late teens to late 50s.
