This is a wonderful secret, it's so great when fandom gives you courage to try something again. (I was in a nasty bike crash and only started cycling again because of Pokémon, so I feel you). I hope you get a wonderful cosplay to wear whilst horseriding, OP!

Aw, that's cool, OP. I'm glad you're willing to try again. Hope all goes well and you can do that dream cosplay of yours :)!

Never heard that reason before, but good for you.
The rule is to get straight back on when you fall off because if you wait you give yourself time to overthink it.

I've had to teach people who wanted to ride a certain way for the look of it before, and it hasn't been the easiest time. It takes more time and energy to learn how to ride bareback, for instance.

I hope so.

I'm not a huge fan of horses because as a child we had a pony and it tried to eat my hair and it kicked me once. But I did learn to ride later. I recognize that horses have distinct personalities even if I still don't really care for them and I can work with them. A lot of riding stables have very docile horses for beginners and nervous riders.

My parents had horses growing up, and once I fell off and my mom, after checking that I didn't have a concussion/broken bones, made me get back on the horse. I really didn't want to, but she said it was one of those things you had to do. I'm glad I did it - I got over the anxiety pretty quickly, and love horses again. :)

I always wanted to do a horse cosplay, too! I wanted to do Link on Epona but our horses didn't look anything like Epona.

Which movie is this from?

I have wanted to do a Valdemar Herald and Companion cosplay with my friend's white horse for several years now.
