I hate how many blogs don't have an option for comments or link them to your email/Facebook anymore.

I miss being able to converse, damn it.

Yeahhhhhhh, I mean, I miss it too, but I can also understand why that changed

We really kind of proved that we're not capable, as a society, of handling comments sections with the class and dignity that they require

Unless someone really wants to moderate, they end up in one of three places: nowhere, spam central, or trollville.

And even if someone is willing to moderate, it's actually quite difficult and time-consuming to do it well.

*sigh* This. Moderating the comments of an active blog can end up being a tedious full time job, I'm not surprised most people decide they don't want to bother.

I miss that too. BUt I really miss the share on Facebook buttons. What happened to those?
