Man you’re lucky as hell if tumblr is the place where you’ve seen the worst misogyny or other shit.

I’ve been to reddit, 4chan, etc. all the misogyny and racism and sexism and classism easily outweighs whatever dumbass teenage comments I find. Mostly because they tend to be from entitled adult men.

I actually think teenage to 20-something females have as much hatred for older women as the worst misogynistic incels do.

You know the ones that think women have to be the responsible 'motherly' parent who aren't ever allowed to have any fun without being mocked or ridiculed for it. The womans job is to THINK OF THE CHILDREN (according to dumblr teenage girls) and BEAR THE CHILDREN FOR ANY MAN THAT WANTS IT (according to 4chan/reddit incels).

Considering Tumblr uses shit like cuck/chad/incels/fujoshi unironically I'd say yeah. Parts of tumblr are just as bad/misogynistic if not worse than parts of reddit and 4chan, plus they try to get away with it more using the "I can't be X because I'm Y" excuse. I say this as someone who frequents all 3. (Reddit and 4chan, like tumblr are NOT a monolith)

Yeah, I haven't been on 4chan much but Reddit is not a homogeneous place. Never actually saw much misogyny happening in the threads I follow. Whereas I open my tumblr app and someone in my dash reblogs some post with subtle misogyny. Nice one, tumblr.
