I dislike the 'take off your glasses' type makeover.

People who wear glasses instead of contacts sometimes have a reason for that.

I don't think I've really ever forgotten what's in my closet, but there are a few things I don't wear very often and I think someone else looking at your clothes could put some things together in a way you'd never thought to wear them. And, in middle school and high school, my friends and I sometimes wore each other's clothes - I specifically remember them dressing me up for a dance. I was in 8th grade and a guy I clocked as an adult, maybe 19-21, hit on me (he was shocked to learn my age), so I don't know that I'd define that as success.

I will say this about makeovers, it's amazing what clothes that fit well and a flattering hairstyle can do for some people.

there's nothing wrong with glasses. I think that dumb trope was invented by contact lens companies.

Tried contact lenses and they're fine, but my face is the kind of face that benefits from wearing glasses so yes.
