Mmm, the second scene sounds hot.

It is. But more importantly, it improves the book Daario/Daenerys thing. Here Daenerys realizes she's queen and in charge and that Daario is totally into her and totally willing to do things her way. She takes charge of her sexuality in a way she doesn't in the books.
