Do you believe in fate / destiny? Or anything along those lines, even if you call it something else?

Not in the sense that there is a force controlling things or that the future is already written and must play out in a certain way. No fatalism, but I do have an "it was/wasn't meant to be" attitude often.

Nope, not at all.

I think it's just a way people have of explaining randomness, and I don't believe in any force or being that would be able to enforce it.

In the sense that I'm fated to do this exact thing at this exact time, or that people are destined to suffer for being sinners and were destined to be sinners so they can suffer, or something - no.

But I have a bit of a watch-clock idea of the universe - that it was set into motion and the way some things begin sort of dictate how they will end, and if there was a higher power then the ending is likely by design. But the nuance of how to get there might be more in our control, and it's also super big picture (like how the universe ends, not the beginning of the universe dictates that I'm going to get a pizza in an hour).
