Where did I say I expected that to change someone's reaction to it?

If the fact that it's a secret is irrelevant to someone's reaction to it, then why reply to that reaction pointing out that it's a secret? What's it matter that someone submitted it as a secret? Why bother pointing that out? What are you trying to do here?

It's interesting that you assume this is about you and your reaction.

Nothing the original NAYRT in this thread said indicates that they assume you are talking about them and their reaction. Is calling them self-absorbed or narcissistic the best you can do? Do you have no actual answers to any of their questions?
