I mean, yeah? I've witnessed a friend crumble into a depressed mess because of cheating, that's about how personal it gets. Does that invalidate what I'm saying?

The part where someone suggested cheating isn't as bad as rape or murder and you said they're belittling cheating, maybe.

Kind of a stretch to assume I equate cheating with rape or murder. The point is that cheating is an asshole thing to do, especially nowadays when there's open/poly relationships commonly catering to different needs. I sure as hell wouldn't date anyone who thinks cheating ain't a big deal.
