I haven't seen it but that's the reason I always hated Hanleia too.

Most formative, perhaps, but I disagree that it's the most important. I didn't hate them or anything... I just felt like Qi'ra had more chemistry with Dryden.

I don't have an opinion on this couple, but was never a big fan of Han/Leia, either. I know all that bickering is supposed to be cute or indicative of barely contained sexual compatibility or whatever, but I always found it really tedious to watch.

I remember when that sort of "banter" between romantic leads was common, but I didn't care for it then and it feels very dated and tiresome. I think that's the vibe they were going for with the first Jurassic World movie, which is why I absolutely hated the romance angle.

I liked them but I wanted the writing to commit more to showing how that relationship and its problems formed him into the Han he becomes later? It felt pretty half-baked in what it was even saying about his character.
