Aw, that pic makes me sad. I loved Bill. I can't decide if she's my favorite companion or Donna, but I do like her a lot and thoroughly enjoyed her run with Twelve. I also wish she could've stuck around to meet Thirteen.

I've felt this way about sequels too, but I'm actually pretty excited about this one because I enjoyed the first one so much and want to see more of the characters.

Is that how that works, though? I don't think that the most sexist writer is necessarily the one who gives the worst ending to a female character.

I mean, the whole construct of arguing over who's the "most sexist" is probably not a great approach, and both of them have definite issues with sexism at various point, but I'm not sure I agree with the argument here.

There was a show I really liked that got cancelled and ended on a really sad cliffhanger. Ever since then, I don't want to watch serialized shows. I'll just wait until they're done and decide if I want to watch them then.
