So he's made some shitty jokes and taken less than ideal acting roles in a cut throat industry but hasn't directly abused anyone. Sounds like you want an ideal and not a person. Additionally, apologizing as a celebrity comes with its own set of problems because it brings attention to issues forgotten by most and makes a scandal of the apology itself, no matter how heartfelt and well written.
