When you feel sufficiently dispirited, money can seem like the only thing that actually makes a difference. Then again, if you want to give to charity, there’s always Habitat for Humanity.

Still not finding a lot. It makes sense that its more difficult for poor families to find housing than it is for singles or couples with no children. Not seeing so much as discrimination as choosing who they want to help with limited resources.

But - haven't yet found a story or article showing someone having been told they couldn't apply/didn't get a home because they were single.

nobody should be homeless. I don't think it matters whether they bred or not.

No, they shouldn't. But different organizations have different missions. And like i said - haven't found a 'i was told being single disqualified me' story online, and in fact the official page has income requirements for both single individuals and families.
