WH is the only one I've read. I don't think it's romantic, but I do think it's very entertaining! I love stories where all the characters are despicable.

Anyway, I don't think I've ever personally met anyone who thought it was soooo romantic, but I've met a ton of people who hate it. So I generally avoid discussions about it as well off anon.

Well, it's fiction, so who cares if there are people who find it romantic? But I agree it's not a good example for real life romance.

I would normally be into stories like Wuthering Heights cause I love fiction where everyone is awful, and I do appreciate some of the themes in it, but in actuality it puts me to sleep every time I try to read it
