DITTO. I was so disappointed to hear the new show wasn't going to be set in more recent history. The destruction of Valyria, the survival of the Targareyns, and the conquering of Westeros would be fascinating.

Anything that's distinctive about them has been done much more interestingly elsewhere many times

I really want a mini series about The Dance of the Dragons. That's what I want to see the most. I think it would also be cool if Harry Lloyd played another Targayen. I love his performances in all of the DVD extras. It wouldn't be that unbelievable for him to play another one because of how interbreed they are.

We could easily get more prequel series depending on how successful this Dawn Age one is.
