Same here. Respect for any people that wear contacts. I freak out if I get an eyelash in there and have to wash it out. Egh.

You get used to it pretty quickly. It took me hours to get them in for about a week when I first got them 20 years and now I can put them in anywhere. In a moving car. Half asleep. Without a mirror. Accidentally stabbing myself in the eye with my fingernail. You just don’t think about it once you get used to doing it every day.

Some of us simply can't wear them. I finally had to get someone else to take them out for me. The eye place put them in for me when I got them, and I simply couldn't get them out. A combination of bad allergies and dry eyes I guess.
