I've wanted to try colored contact lenses for some time now. But I've worn my regular contacts for so long in my life that my eyes pretty much reject them. After getting eye surgery, I don't really have that urge anymore.

hard same. I wore contacts for years until I finally got surgery. About a decade after that I tried out some contacts for cosplay and just - could not. I wonder if it was as much a mental thing as a physical thing but either way I lasted less than an hour before those suckers came out and I haven't tried since. (also probably doesn't help that I have small eyes and while they make prescription contacts for that kind of thing they don't make cosplay ones for it)
