167. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if he's gay. But I also believe the reason the entire internet thinks so is because the fandom is so homo-obsessed.

Personally, I would laugh my ass off if Zach turned out to be straight and showed up somewhere with a girlfriend one of these days. Not saying its gonna happen, but if it did? The wank would be hilariously epic.

In all seriousness, as I said, I wouldn't be surprised if he's gay. I think he probably is gay. But I also think it's kind of silly how pretty much the entire fandom seems to be utterly convinced of his gayness when none of you even remotely know the guy. And I also think you'd be lying to yourselves if you said your RPS wish fulfillment fantasies aren't coloring your judgement somewhat. Sure, fte_2 only thinks he's straight because she thinks he's her astral plane bf, but if her viewpoint can be colored by what she wants to be true, are you so sure yours can't?

I do think Zach is gay, but that's not why I ship him. I'd have been more comfortable shipping him if I didn't think he was. It's too close to (how I perceive) RL, and that's not a place I want my RPS fantasies to go. So, no. They're two very different matters to me.

Uh, blanket statement much? I'm a ZQ (and admittedly Heroes) fan, wouldn't touch RPS with a 10-ft pole. But yeah...he's gay. I don't think he makes much of an effort to hide it, either. (But why should he?)
