110: I'm not 100% sure I would, but I so totally know where you're coming from.
112: No, it's not just you, but remember that there are a lot of new (and quite young) fans who don't read Western comics and have seen this film mostly for the star power, for whom this is their first exposure to the bigger ideas. The BT,DT reaction is mostly from the older fen.
114: Whee, Excel Saga secret!
135: *points to the LotR fandom* Just because the author isn't writing any more doesn't mean the fandom is dead or dying. (Especially since the Potterfandom still has two movies to go.)
137: A local a cappella group does a Schoolhouse Rock medley as one of their signature pieces. It gets more applause than anything else they do. Everyone in the group, and 99% of their audience, is over 21.
146: That never would have occurred to me, but you have a point there. (Mal/Simon had so much more chemistry than Simon/Kaylee anyway . . .)
177: I've seen a couple of fanart jokes about that already. It would be kind of awesome, wouldn't it?
