126: I need good characters to really fall for something too; I don't need to admire them, but they have to be understandable and have character development. I'm not limited to one sex, but I think it's a problem that this is so rare among female characters compared to male characters.

171: Who are these legendary fans who spend their time comparing Sephiroth favourably to every other FF villain out there? So far I've only seen secrets about how awful he is.

OP here: I live with one. And work with one. And have a couple more on my flist. And they don't listen to any kind of argument otherwise, so I have to do this QUITE a lot.

And it wasn't so much the whole Kefka>Sephiroth thing that made me post the secret. It was more the 'I must share this mental image with others'.

Yeah, everybody else on this comm seem to agree with you, for starters.

I think they're both awesome, but I really don't like when people have to couple their admiration for one character with bashing of another.
