A long fic. I love the beginning but I can't seem to keep the rest on track. It's all over the place and I don't know what to do. :(

I'm working on a long fic too and what helped kinda rein in mine was to just write whatever popped in my head during the week and work on some outlining during the weekend.

Some BNHA fic. One of them's straight-up porn, and then another I've just started is a big angst train. Both of them are pretty fun!

I've been struggling with the same fork-in-the-road AU since last November. I love my project but I'm shit at plotty fic, I'm still not sure how it ends and editing what I've already written is oh os harder than I previously thought.
And to say I started several of these AUs and hoped to finish a few during the year... gah.

Trying to use Camp Wrimo to finish a M/M short story about an art crimes detective who keeps getting paintings from a mystery admirer. (I specifically researched stolen and unrecovered paintings for this, two Monets got stolen and supposedly burned and the couple met on Tinder of all places which is honestly a story in and of itself...)

Working on blocking out an OC-insert Worm fic, and doing the same for an OC-insert Dragon Age fic that has... gotten a little out of hand.
Firstly, because I couldn't choose between my Wardens, so I've got seven of the bastards; secondly, because I really couldn't be having with the way DAO's postscript negates most of the big changes the player can make (not really surprising, in game terms, but I still can't bring myself to leave things as they are in canon), so there will be an elven Arl in Denerim, and there will be changes in the Shaperate, and there will be land in Ferelden for the elves.
I just need to work out what it's going to do to the long-term political landscape so I can work that into the DA2 and DAI parts of the story!

I'm trying to write lore for my Flight Rising clan. I thought maybe it would help inspire me with my dragons, but it's so hard to think of stuff. So I tried reading some other people's lore and just the whole concept of dragons as like super-intelligent human-like creatures is uncomfortably furry for me. I'm just... not that into dragons that I would imagine them wearing clothes or building houses together.

I wound up creating humanoid versions of them bc that was the only way to escape Weird Furry Zone, but so far I've found the characters so uninspiring and it's like..... how does this fit in with site lore at all? Even if I pretend that all the dragons in Sornieth are actually these humanoid things or shapeshifters or something, FR lore is just so fucking dumb.

I'm almost 1,000 words into chapter five of my Pokemon/Voyager crossover. Gonna try to write more tonight if I can actually manage to sit still and concentrate on anything for more than 5 minutes.
