Re: How's your day going, FS?

My pattern is one I've made myself and as such probably not very good, and I'm woefully inept at English crocheting terminology. But it's SIMPLE, so I'll try:

I start with a ring of 16 stitches, and add the "eyes" of the net by crocheting chains that I fastend to the row below (for 16 stitches, I make 8 eyes). I increase the size of the eyes by increasing the length of the chains (1st row = 4 stitches per eye, 2nd row 8st, 3rd row 12st, 4th row 15st). On the 5th row, I'll increase the number of eyes by adding two eyes into every other existing eye (12 eyes per row). Then I continue with one chain into one eye until I reach the size I want.

I finish by crocheting one long chain that I weave all the way through the top eyes of the net, so that it can be used for closing the top of the bag.

My bags are pretty small. I'm not sure about the yarn weight, but the needle size I use is 1.25 metric.

Ooh, sounds easy enough, thank you! :)
