Insurance sucks. Finally getting my surgery, but still going to cost us more than 2000 dollars even with insurance actually covering some of it.

Omg, yes.
It's been over a month since I went to the eye doctor, got an exam and picked out a frame and lenses.

Nothing, however, will happen until my stupid insurance 'process' the claim, and it's a) already been disputed once because the eye doc didn't do the paperwork right and b) they're 'behind'.

While i get headaches and squint a lot. ARGH.

I'm not in the US so why do you need an insurance for this? New glasses cost about $30.

You're very fortunate. Here, the eye exam alone might cost me $40, and the glasses themselves might be another hundred or so dollars and I'd still consider that a bargain.
