I don't know what this is about, but I don't think it's particularly difficult to say "I don't like Nazis and hope my fans aren't Nazis"

I hope it's more complicated than that, but people have been this stupid before

I agree that it would be good, and easy, for her to say that, and I wish she would.

I think the subsequent argument that people make, where they conclude that she's definitely a racist and a Trump supporter, is much more tenuous and objectionable.

I don't know much about Taylor Swift except that the kids I work with love her music, but yeah, how hard could it be to say something like that? But maybe you're right, anon, and it's more complicated than it seems.
