I'd never get involved in a billion years, but the Sherlock fandom is so popcorn worthy...especially the part of fandom who thought Johnlock was endgame or that the fourth season had a secret episode that somehow makes season 4 not suck.

I shipped both Johnlock and Sherlolly, but hung out on the fringes because I wasn't about to dip my toes into that kind of crazy. The Johnlock conspiracy theorists who were convinced there was a secret ending for season four were incredibly amusing.

The secret episode theory is hilarious. I love how some Sherlock fans are so deep in denial over how much that season sucks that they made up some miraculous episode that would fix everything.

I'm so glad I noped out of the whole thing after season 2 -- which already sucked pretty hard, so I don't even want to know how they managed to get even worse.

I don't think simply thinking Johnlock might be endgame was completely insane, but the secret episode thing was just jaw-droppingly nuts, and this is coming from someone who has been in fandom a long time. The part where the secret episode would undo everything from the third episode, or the whole season... I mean, if the showrunners wanted to tell a different story than the one they told, they would have just told THAT story instead. Yeah, TV shows have done the ~*it was all a dream*~ thing often enough, but not in the form of a secret extra episode that no regular viewers would have known to tune in for.
