Most video game fandoms are pretty chill compared to other media fandoms. There's some exceptions like Undertale, Life is Strange, etc. (basically if it became popular among the Migratory Slash Fandom or on tumblr it's a fucking shit show) and of course the occasional major shit storm like the ME3 ending one. But most big games and franchises seem to be alright.

Dragon Age fandom is a dumpster fire though.
