Minor anecdote: Not a furry, but I'm well-aware of huskies' popularity in the furry fandom. A remember there was a period of time that whenever a furry would mention their dog, it was almost guaranteed to be a husky. I used to feel somewhat strange about those folks who would just get a (very hyper, high-maintenance, allergy-inducing) dog just for the sake of matching up with their fursona, but now I'm also concerned about the possibility that some folks may have also chose them because they were the "sexiest". God.

Thank you however for making this secret. It's nice to see a furry secret because it's hardly ever talked about (at least for me), and I think it's neat knowing what's up.

Yeah, I'm a furry and it is kind of weird that people in the fandom would get huskies IRL for that reason. I get pretty angry in general when people will get pets they can't take care of based on fictional characters (like how a lot of parents got their kids dalmatians when that 101 Dalmatians remake came out and then abandoned them when they realized they aren't very kid-friendly dogs), but getting a high-maintenance pet because of "sexy" art online is just a whole different level of uncomfortable.
