What is everyone doing this weekend?

I am going to babysit my nephew so my sister can have a break. I am also going to look at paint stuff so I can figure out how I want to paint my room. I know nothing about that kind of stuff. Other than that, playing some platformers I downloaded.

Going to a boring, political party with my wife tonight, applying for another job tomorrow, and hopefully nothing at all on Sunday.

What colour do you want to paint your room?

Maybe something crazy will happen at the party. :P

Well, my curtains and bedding are grey and yellow. So, I want to make the walls grey. No idea about my trim or ceiling.

Alas, apparently we are going to a wedding on Sunday so there goes my quiet day at home...

ETA: just kidding, my wife misread the invitation and the wedding is NINE HOURS AWAY so we are not going. Hooray for Sunday. I love the bride to death but omg an outdoor wedding in July.

Hopefully I'm going to get some writing done. There's a pairing I love with zero fic and I want to rectify that.

Good luck on the writing! Hopefully there are some other people that want fic too and you will be their savior.

Catching up on sleep for sure and then laundry. It's gonna be really hot, so I'll be able to dry my stuff outside.

It is hot as fuck here as well. I hope you catch up on that sleep though!

working...trying madly to make up enough commission that I'll at least come close to my monthly quota before I leave on vacation next friday, lol. Dat commission tally is looking kinda slim atm and mama needs her $.

oh and watching Stargate Atlantis which I've just gotten into. I'm like 5 eps in currently and I already love everyone so much

I just had some fun with my Hitachi Magic Wand so I'll probably be resting for the next two days!

Sleep. I'm so behind on sleep.

Tomorrow we're going to go see Ant Man and the Wasp and then eat at Red Lobster.

And I'll probably watch me some Doctor Who.

Trying to stay awake tonight to do basal testing of my insulin for diabetes (basically the insulin that has nothing to do with food, just...living), then catch up on missed sleep, chores and work Sat night. On Sunday my friend is having a bbq so hopefully that will be a relaxed afternoon.

Why do you have to stay awake to do the testing?

Going to see the Incredibles 2 tomorrow, it's been out for a week but me and the bf were too busy last weekend, so this one it is. Other than that probably doing some WoW stuff, I've got a list of tier sets I wanna gif so I'm going to be video capturing or trying to complete the sets for it.

I wish I was better at painting/interior design stuff. I’ve been at SDCC, and I’m there for fun tomorrow and work Sunday, but working at the con is more fun than regular work. I get to cosplay.

Me too! You were able to actually go? Lucky.

Clean kitchen, and then work a shift. Basically. Here's hoping that the kitchen cleaning gets done.
