It probably has something to do with the recent announcement of the MMORPG. (OMG OMG OMG DO WANT.)

I think that's still unconfirmed. There have been so many rumours around KOTOR I'm not believing anything until there's an official announcement.

Nope, it's real (http://www.massively.com/2008/07/17/kotor-mmo-confirmed-by-electronic-arts/). It was just a fairly quiet announcement. (One of the Massively bloggers is a friend of mine, and knows I'm batshit for the series.)

Thanks for the link! That's... interesting to know. I don't really like those online games, but I'll probably give it a try.

I'm sure that someone from Massively will get in on the beta and do a first impressions of it...talk about whether or not it'll hold appeal for those of us who aren't really fans of MMOs. (I never could get into them, either.)

Aw, I didn't know they were doing an MMORPG.. last I read was the rumours of KOTORIII .. they're definitely not doing it in the same format as the last two? Darn it. I've never played an MMORPG.. I got Galaxies and never even played it.

~~I am a bad gamer... if it's not the Sims or Star Wars I don't play it... but on the plus side, I've played a lot of Star Wars, so I don't feel too bad about it XD~~

It's been complicated. Bioware's been working on an MMO for a while, but kept denying it was KotOR. Rumors circulated, etc, etc, and they finally announced it all quiet-like after being pressed.

(Every girl needs a good squee icon. I also have this one, but it's not funny.)

I'm all darn-it that it's an online game and yay for more KOTOR.. but thanks for the info :)

It depends on how they do it, I think. I trust Bioware to shake some of the usual tropes up, and as long as I can run around Kashyyyk with a pair of yellow-bladed lightsabers, I'll be good.

I'd say they'd do a good job of it. When it comes down to it, KOTORI and II are both fantastic games, even if there's bit and pieces you don't like about them; who doesn't have those? Lol, I'm a yellow lightsaber girl too.

Aw, I would do, but I'm not a Donna fan: I intend never to have any icons of her in a silent protest .. sad fact is sad, I know.

Ooh ooh ooh and the Qel-Droma robes! I hope they have those, they're awesome!

DW's a big enough fandom to fit everyone, no worries.

It has to be armour for me XD ~~the medium Echani one!~~ Robes were always too much on... the Jedi side? LOL, considering your character's a Jedi, I guess that doesn't even matter. But I liked armour! Apart from the restrictions on your Force powers, of course.

That's the fun thing about it :)
