And if there is, well then, Zutarians, feel free to explain this to me, especially the batshit insane Zutarians who baww'd over that Kataang "won" in the end, even though Zutara was obviously canon. (I don't think all Zutarians are idiots, ship who you like I say! This is just a call out to the idiots 8|)

As far as shipping in Avatar goes, I'm mostly neutral (I watched the show for the show, not to see who ended up with who). But I think the appeal of Zutara is the whole opposites attract thing, rather than just sexy person with sexy person (or whatever). And whereas in most Western media (comic books, novels, tv shows, etc), the leading lady usually ends up with the hero/good guy, in Japan it's usually the girl going for the dark, anti-hero that was-once-bad-but-now-good over the always-good guy (Kyo x Tohru, Bulma x Vegeta, Makino x Domyouji, Mizuki x Sano, etc.). So if a person has more of a history with/preference toward Japanese cartoons over American ones, I can see how there'd be a tendency to ship Zutara.

Personally, I was happy with the end, because it had good scenes of both Zutara and Kataang, and I'm all for shipping everyone with everyone.
