Not every fic has LS!Fem!Revan as a boring protagonist, though. Not to toot my own horn here, but I've always seen my own as a Lightsider who likes to be a wiseass and sarcastic, even as she's saving the galaxy.
I'd agree with the KOTOR II sentiment if Bao-Dur wasn't there. More Fem!Exile/Bao-Dur, please.

123: Plenty of people have done the same, and succeeded. If you can make something of yourself with your decision, go for it. And don't be embarrassed.

148: Well, it goes without saying that not every person who likes yaoi does the shit you describe, but I can certainly understand your complaints- and agree, to some extent. Part of it is just the maturity level of the people in fandom (let's assume that the majority of yaoi fangirls are teenagers), and part of it is that even older fangirls still act that way because they don't know any better. I'm generalizing about teenagers here though, so pardon me, but the point remains. Sometimes fans don't know any better, or haven't seen fandom portrayed in any other, more constructive ways.
Then again, when you have fans that know better.. it's a different story.
(I'm a hypocrite too, since I do throughly enjoy my fandoms and sometimes act silly too, but tl;dr, I basically agree with you)
